The Tar Heel Branch has 122 members as of February 1, 2012. This is an increase of more than 50% over the figure of 78 on February 1, 2011 — and so the branch has earned two 130th annniversary membership campaign credits to use for new members later this year.
Our percentage of dual members (those who pay AAUW dues through another branch) is much higher than for most branches, so it may be more useful to look at the growth in the member of primary members. We had 42 primary members as of 2/1/2011 and 72 as of today — a growth rate of more than 70%.
