Happy Spring! For AAUW, mid-March means the start of a new year — at least as far as dues collection goes.

To celebrate we’re hosting a virtual Shape the Future event, and that means

• half off the national AAUW dues (a $25 value) for new members and those who haven’t been members for at last two years
• your membership is good through 6/30/2017 — 15 months of membership
• if you want to join a community-based branch, too, mention that and we’ll take care of it — no additional charge
• if a friend has encouraged you to join AAUW, mention their name and they will be entered into a special drawing.

The dues for new, regular members through this program are $40 through June 30, 2017. It’s been a STEM kind of month. We welcome the many new contacts we’ve made at events in Chapel Hill and Raleigh and look forward to attendees at the Bridging the Gap 2015 conference hearing more about AAUW and its STEM initiatives.
