AAUW NC wants to welcome Western Carolina as a College/University partner of AAUW and is offering special membership discounts for a limited time.
To join the Tar Heel branch (with an option to transfer to any of the 19 community-based branches in North Carolina) simply
- Fill out our online information sheet, check the $65 box, and in the comments
- mention the “Western Carolina Campaign” and
- optionally list any one additional branch you’d like to join
- Make a $40 payment:
- Online payment or
- Mail a check payable to “AAUW Tar Heel” to

IF YOU ARE A GRADUATE STUDENT
Follow the instructions above (checking the $34.81 box) but you are entitled to an additional discount. Pay only $30 online or by mail as above.
IF YOU ARE a new graduate
If you have received any degree in the last two years (AA or higher), it gets even better. You can join for $16 (state and local dues). Again pay $16 online or by mail.
IF YOU ARE an undergraduate
If you haven’t yet received a first bachelor’s degree, you can join AAUW as an “e-student affiliate” for free because Western Carolina is an AAUW partner!
- First fill out the AAUW e-student affiliate form, and then
- Complete the branch online information sheet
