The branch at the AAUW NC Convention

Here are members of the Tar Heel Branch at the Friday, March 27 banquet celebrating 100 years of AAUW in North Carolina. All but Bernlohr are dual members of the branch.

Each branch was asked to bring a display representing their branch. This shows where all the Tar Heel Branch members live — from Murphy to Kinston, after only nine months we are serving much of the state. [Here is another version of the map that shows the distribution of primary and dual members.]

Carol is the last regional director who will attend our convention. With the changes to the AAUW bylaws a new volunteer structure (the Leader Corps) will take over some of the duties of the RD. We thank her for her two years of dedicated service to the region.
