In preparation for the annual meeting of the branch on Friday, March 27 at the Blockade Runner Hotel in Wrightsville Beach (in connection with the annual meeting of AAUW NC at the same time), the branch held a web-based vote on three items:
- Approving the branch bylaws
- Approving the amount of the branch dues for 2009-2010, and
- Electing members of the branch board for 2009-2010
Voting closed yesterday, and we are pleased to announce that the bylaws passed, the $5 branch dues will take effect on July 1 (those joining/renewing before then will pay $0 branch dues), and that all the candidates for the branch board were elected.
