The board has approved new versions of the bylaws and policies.
- Bylaws (March 2014). Normally bylaws changes require a vote of the branch, not just the board. The board’s vote was to agree that the only changes from the previous version were editorial or mandated by AAUW (see 2013 conformance memo).
- Policies (March 2014). The major change here was in section 5 of Financial Procedures, documenting the practice of the last couple of years in offering discounted dues based on financial hardship. Other changes were clarifications and expanded documentation on how the business of the branch is actually being conducted.
